SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Lake Erie Monsters forward Tom Fritsche and Norfolk Admirals goaltender Karri Ramo have been suspended for six (6) games each as a result of their actions in a game between the teams in Norfolk on Jan. 23.
Both players were suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 70.10 for leaving the players’ bench during an altercation.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Iowa Chops defenseman Brian Salcido has been added to the PlanetUSA AHL All-Star team roster for the 2009 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Charter Communications, to take place this Sunday and Monday in Worcester, Mass.
Salcido replaces Chops teammate Drew Miller, who will miss the event due to NHL recall by the parent Anaheim Ducks.
