SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Grand Rapids Griffins right wing Francis Pare has been named the Reebok/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Dec. 13, 2009. Pare recorded three goals, three assists and a plus-8 rating in four games last week.

The Lowell Devils today named John MacLean as head coach, joining a staff that includes assistant coach Kevin Dean and goaltending coach Chris Terreri.
