Daum takes over as Falcons head coach

  General manager Steve Tambellini announced today that the Edmonton Oilers have appointed Rob Daum as head coach of the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, replacing Jeff Truitt for the remainder of the 2008-09 season.

  The Ottawa Senators announced today that Curtis Hunt will take over as head coach of the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
