The Ottawa Senators, parent club of the AHL’s Binghamton Senators, announced today they have signed free-agent goaltender Andy Chiodo to a one-year, two-way contract.
Chiodo, 26, spent the past three seasons in Europe. He played for two years in Finland before joining Dynamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League, where he posted a 6-11-3 record with a 3.66 goals-against average in 26 games in 2008-09.
